1. SCOPE OF AGREEMENT

This Agreement applies to all training programs, instructional courses, events, and related activities organized, conducted, facilitated, or provided by Coach K's Training LLC, including but not limited to:

• Corporate team-building and leadership development programs

• Military-style Crucible programs and tactical training exercises

• Firearm safety, handling, marksmanship, and live-fire instruction

• Self-defense, personal protection, and defensive tactics training

• Wilderness and urban survival-skills instruction

• Emergency medical, first-aid, and emergency response training

• Outdoor activities, hiking, and navigation exercises

• Physical fitness challenges, obstacle courses, and team challenges

• Scenario-based training, simulations, and practical exercises

• Other related instructional, recreational, physical, or outdoor activities

These programs and activities are collectively referred to as the "Activities."

I understand that certain Activities may involve firearms, physical contact, strenuous exercise, simulated emergency situations, outdoor environments, or combinations of these elements.

2. PARTICIPATION & ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK

I understand and acknowledge that participation in the Activities may involve inherent risks, including serious bodily injury, permanent disability, emotional distress, property damage, or death.

Potential risks include, but are not limited to:

• Slips, trips, falls, strains, sprains, and other physical injuries

• Contact or collisions with equipment, obstacles, or other participants

• Exposure to heat, cold, weather, uneven terrain, insects, plants, and environmental hazards

• Physical exertion, fatigue, dehydration, and other exercise-related conditions

• Physical contact during self-defense, tactical, or team-based exercises

• Stress or emotional discomfort associated with simulated emergencies or challenging scenarios

• Accidental firearm discharge, projectile impacts, ricochets, hearing damage, and other firearm-related hazards

• Injuries arising from the handling or use of training equipment, tools, or other instructional materials

I understand that Coach K's Training LLC will take reasonable safety precautions; however, no training environment or activity can be made completely free of risk.

I voluntarily elect to participate in the Activities, understand their potential hazards, and knowingly assume the inherent risks associated with my participation.

3. FIREARM SAFETY & RESPONSIBILITIES

I understand that certain Activities may involve the handling, possession, transportation, or use of firearms, ammunition, and related equipment, including live-fire exercises.

I acknowledge and agree that:

• I will follow all firearm safety rules, range regulations, and instructions provided by authorized instructors.

• I will handle firearms only when authorized and in accordance with instructor directions.

• I will immediately notify an instructor of any unsafe condition, equipment malfunction, or safety concern.

• I will not participate in firearm-related Activities while impaired by alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may affect my judgment, coordination, or ability to safely handle firearms.

• I will not engage in horseplay, reckless behavior, or unauthorized firearm handling.

• I will comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws governing firearm possession and use.

I certify that I am legally permitted to possess and handle any firearm involved in my participation, as applicable.

I understand that failure to comply with firearm safety rules or instructor directions may result in immediate removal from the Activity.

4. HEALTH, SAFETY & PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

I believe that I am physically and mentally capable of safely participating in the Activities I elect to undertake.

I agree to notify Coach K's Training LLC personnel of any medical condition, injury, physical limitation, disability, or other concern that may affect my ability to participate safely.

I agree to follow reasonable safety instructions and to use training equipment appropriately.

I understand that I may request a modification, take a break, or discontinue participation if I believe I cannot safely continue.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for exercising reasonable judgment regarding my own physical abilities and limitations.

5. RELEASE OF LIABILITY

In consideration for being permitted to participate in the Activities, I voluntarily assume the inherent risks associated with participation.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, I hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Coach K's Training LLC and its owners, officers, directors, coaches, instructors, employees, staff members, assistants, independent contractors, subcontractors, volunteers, agents, representatives, event support personnel, event partners, host organizations, and other persons assisting with or supporting the Activities (collectively referred to as the "Released Parties") from claims for personal injury, property damage, or other loss arising from the ordinary negligence of any Released Party in connection with my participation in the Activities.

This release applies to claims arising from ordinary negligence associated with the instruction, supervision, organization, facilitation, equipment, premises, or conduct of the Activities, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

This release does not apply to claims that cannot legally be waived, including claims arising from gross negligence, reckless conduct, or intentional misconduct.

6. PARTICIPANT CONDUCT & RESPONSIBILITY

I agree to conduct myself in a safe and responsible manner and to follow the reasonable directions of Coach K's Training LLC personnel.

I understand that unsafe, reckless, threatening, or disruptive behavior may result in my removal from an Activity.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for my own conduct, including my compliance with safety instructions and applicable laws.

Nothing in this Agreement relieves the Released Parties of liability that cannot legally be waived.

7. EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE

If I become injured or ill during an Activity, I authorize the Released Parties to provide or arrange reasonable first aid and, when reasonably necessary, emergency medical assistance.

I understand that emergency medical treatment may involve transportation to a medical facility or assistance from emergency medical personnel.

I acknowledge that I am responsible for resulting medical expenses, subject to applicable insurance coverage.

8. PERSONAL PROPERTY & EQUIPMENT

I understand that I am responsible for safeguarding my personal belongings, firearms, equipment, and other property brought to the Activities.

I agree to use any equipment provided by Coach K's Training LLC in accordance with applicable safety instructions.

I acknowledge that Coach K's Training LLC is not responsible for loss of or damage to personal property except as otherwise required by law.

9. VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION & ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By signing this Agreement, I acknowledge and agree that:

• I have carefully read and understand this Agreement.

• I understand the nature of the Activities and the potential risks associated with participation.

• I understand that certain Activities may involve firearms, live ammunition, physical contact, strenuous exercise, or other potentially hazardous conditions.

• I understand that participation is voluntary.

• I agree to follow reasonable safety instructions and applicable laws.

• I understand that this Agreement affects certain legal rights, including my right to bring claims for ordinary negligence against the Released Parties.

• I have had the opportunity to ask questions regarding the Activities and this Agreement.

• I am signing this Agreement freely and voluntarily.

I ACKNOWLEDGE THAT I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT, INCLUDING THE ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF RISK AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND VOLUNTARILY AGREE TO ITS TERMS.
